Asset Verification
The verification framework ReserveChain intends to apply to industrial-metal lots before any asset record is published as verified.
What verification is intended to cover
The intended scope of verification differs by program, but is expected to address composition, physical characteristics and identification in each case.
- Chemical composition and purity determined by an accredited laboratory
- Particle size distribution, morphology and density for copper powder
- Wire diameter, tolerance, temper and tensile properties for nickel wire
- Net weight, packaging integrity and seal condition
- Batch, container and coil identifiers reconciled against supporting documentation
Independent parties
Verification is intended to be performed by laboratories and inspection bodies independent of ReserveChain. ReserveChain does not perform laboratory analysis, does not issue certificates of analysis, and does not express an opinion on the results of any third-party assessment.
Publication control
Purity, weight, ownership, custody and reserve claims remain unpublished until supporting evidence has been received, reviewed and approved. Records without approved evidence are displayed as pending verification rather than populated with provisional figures.
Current status
No verification programme is presented as complete. Certificate data referenced elsewhere on this website is illustrative and remains subject to documentary verification, independent assessment and final approval.
