How to recognise fraudulent communications that claim to represent ReserveChain, and what the project will never ask you to do.
There is no token sale
No token has been issued and no token, presale, allocation, whitelist place or discount is offered or sold by ReserveChain. Any offer of these things is fraudulent, regardless of how convincing it appears.
What ReserveChain will never do
Treat any of the following as conclusive evidence of fraud.
- Ask for your seed phrase, private key or wallet password
- Ask you to connect a wallet or approve a transaction
- Ask you to send cryptocurrency or a payment of any kind
- Publish or send you a contract address to buy a token
- Offer guaranteed returns, allocations, bonuses or a countdown to a deadline
- Contact you through an unofficial channel to request funds or personal documents
Common impersonation patterns
Fraudulent actors clone websites at similar domain names, create social accounts using the project name and branding, impersonate team members in direct messages, and circulate fabricated contract addresses, audit reports or partnership announcements.
How to verify
Check the Official Channels Directory on this website before acting on any communication. Confirm the exact domain name. Treat any channel not listed there as unverified, including channels that use the project's name, logo or wording.
If you are targeted
Do not send funds, do not connect a wallet, and do not share documents. Report the communication through the contact route on this website, and report it to the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. ReserveChain cannot recover funds sent to a fraudulent party.
